Kevin's bio


Kevin worked in his hometown of South Orange New Jersey as an accountant since graduating from university. He couldn’t even fit in with his fellow accountants, being labelled a loner and a loser. He didn’t really mind, he found it difficult to strike up conversations anyway.

But eventually Kevin became tired of the same old grin every day, and one day when he was searching the Internet he saw a shop front in New Orleans for rent. In a very un Kevinlike spontaneous decision he quit his job and moved to New Orleans to start up a collectors’ record store. Being a huge jazz fan, and obsessive Bobby Darin collector, this had been a dream of his. His co workers at the accountancy firm laughed and took bets on how long his business would fold. Kevin heard them all laughing as he packed up his desk, and he wondered too how long it would take for his business to fail. He knew it was stupid to move to the ailing city, but he couldn’t resist.

Kevin is gay, and finds it very difficult to begin or maintain a relationship. So sex hasn’t featured much in his life. He is shy and retiring, and just gets on with his collecting. He loves animals, particularly dogs, and will adopt strays and care for them. In his books at least they don’t judge like people do.
